Biography

GigMasters RISING STAR AWARD WINNER (2008) for Top Saxophonist in all of North America! JP, a California native began playing saxophone in the 6th grade, he excelled in his high school Jazz and marching band. He graduated Magna Cum Lau in Music from Irvine Valley College; he also holds a degree in business from CSU Fullerton. He has been hired to play for crowds as small as 4 to crowds over 800. JP has performed at a number of prestigious hotels/resorts like the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point, Pelican Hill in Newport Coast and the Renaissance hotel in Hollywood. He has also had the honor of being a guest performer at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills.

JP specializes in smooth, relaxing Jazz/pop music for special occasions. Backed up by MIDI instrumentation, he can fill the air with the sound of a small Jazz ensemble or a large orchestra. Your audience will be delighted by his take on familiar love songs, musicals and contemporary favorites. They will also love his renditions of popular Jazz standards.
